Photosynthetics
Photosynthetics is an ongoing project exploring varied and diverse concepts of “MotherNature,” delving into the complicated relationship between women and nature. While considering how concepts of “Mother Nature” attach female gender to nature through attributes of life-giving, nurturing, tending, and care, the work will also look closely at the ways in which women are conditioned and trained to posses these traits—perhaps allowing them to fulfill an illusion of having these characteristics naturally.
